飛行計程車(Air Taxi)行業又有新進展。近期飛行計程車於日本做了較為大量的飛行測試，亦即距離商用更進一步；看來，未來東亞與美國會是飛行計程車最先商用化的地區。
12月中，日本大阪和尼崎(Amagasaki)市有2架可載人eVTOL(電動垂直起降機)進行為期多天的飛行測試活動。eVTOL為飛行計程車行業重要的德國開發商Volocopter所提供，目的是為了在2025年大阪世博會正式商用運送乘客之前，讓機組人員先行測試通訊工具和飛行程式程序，飛行測試在2025年世博會館址附近大阪灣的大阪直升機場進行，除了大阪府知事和大阪市長外，還有200多名學生參加飛行測試。
除了日本以外，目前韓國、美國的飛行計程車行業，也往2025年商用的方向推進。此前韓國政府已在首爾偕同中國開發商億航進行飛行測試，但初期謹提供30分鐘航行；Volocopter和美國開發商Joby Aviation(NYSE: JOBY)近期則在美國紐約市進行飛行測試，預估未來在紐約市提供"城市到機場"的飛行服務，提供曼哈頓到甘迺迪國際機場的航程。
歐洲此前預計在2024巴黎奧運啟動飛行計程車商化，在巴黎推出空中計程車。不過近期被市議會認定會造成聲音/視覺污染、浪費能源以及引發地面/空中安全風險。單程110歐元的定價也被認定僅有利於有錢特權階層，為正式商化投下變數。不過，歐洲的環保意識原本就比美國及亞洲各國激進，所以有這樣的結果也不奇怪。

There's a new development in the Air Taxi industry. Recently, extensive flight tests were conducted in Japan, moving closer to commercialization. It seems that East Asia and the U.S. might be the first regions to commercialize Air Taxis.
In mid-December, two manned eVTOLs (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft) underwent several days of flight testing in Osaka and Amagasaki, Japan. These eVTOLs, developed by the German Air Taxi company Volocopter, aim to prepare for commercial passenger transport by 2025 at the Osaka World Expo. The flight tests, conducted near the Expo site in Osaka Bay at the Osaka Heliport, were attended by the governor of Osaka Prefecture, the mayor of Osaka, and over 200 students, focusing on testing communication tools and flight program procedures.
Apart from Japan, the Air Taxi industry in South Korea and the United States is also progressing towards commercialization by 2025. Previously, the South Korean government conducted flight tests in Seoul with the Chinese developer EHang, initially offering a 30-minute flight duration. Volocopter and the American developer Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) have recently conducted tests in New York City, aiming to offer "city to airport" flights, specifically from Manhattan to John F. Kennedy International Airport.
In Europe, there were plans to launch commercial air taxis in Paris for the 2024 Olympics. However, recent concerns by the city council about noise and visual pollution, energy waste, and safety risks on the ground and in the air have raised uncertainties about this initiative. The proposed one-way fare of 110 euros, seen as catering only to the wealthy elite, adds to these concerns. Europe's strong environmental consciousness, more pronounced than in the United States and Asia, makes these developments less surprising.

항공 택시 업계는 새로운 발전을 이루었다. 최근 일본에서 대량의 비행 실험이 진행되면서 상업화에 한 걸음 더 가까워졌다. 동아시아와 미국 최초로 에어택시 상용화가 예상된다.
12월 중순 유인 전기 수직이착륙기(eVTOLs) 2대가 일본 오사카와 아마가사키에서 수일간 비행 테스트를 했다. 이 eVTOLs는 2025년 오사카 엑스포의 상업용 여객 운송을 준비하기 위해 독일 에어택시 회사 볼로콥터(Volocopter)가 개발했다. 엑스포장인 오사카만의 오사카 헬기장 인근에서 진행된 이번 비행테스트에는 오사카부 지사와 오사카부 시장, 학생 200여명이 참가했다. 통신수단과 비행절차 절차를 테스트하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
일본뿐 아니라 한국과 미국의 에어택시 산업도 2025년 상용화를 향해 나아가고 있다. 앞서 한국 정부는 중국 개발사 이항(EHang)과 서울에서 비행테스트를 진행했으나 초기에는 30분의 비행시간만 진행했다. Volocopter와 미국 개발자인 Joby Aviation(NYSE: JOBY)은 최근 뉴욕 시에서 "도시에서 공항까지"항공편을 제공하기 위해 테스트를 실시했으며 특히 맨해튼에서 존 케네디 국제 공항까지다.
유럽에서는 파리 2024년 올림픽에서 상업용 에어택시를 출시할 계획이 있다. 그러나 시의회는 최근 소음과 시각 오염, 에너지 낭비, 지상·공중 안전 위험에 대한 우려로 이 계획에 불확실성을 주고 있다. 제안된 편도 요금은 110유로로 부유한 엘리트 계층에만 영합하는 것으로 간주된다. 이것은 우려를 증폭시켰다. 유럽은 미국과 아시아에 비해 환경보호 의식이 강하다. 따라서 이런 결과가 나온 것도 이상할 게 없다.
