日本國家旅遊局(JNTO)近期公告2024年3月的訪日外國遊客人數，根據報告為308.1萬人次，創歷史單月新高，不過來自韓國的遊客已略有見頂跡象。海擇資本篩選分享部分資訊如下：

1. 2024年3月的訪日外國遊客人數為308.1萬人次，較2019年同期增長11.6%，較2023年同期增長69.5%，創下歷史新高，推估在暑期還能續創新高。

2. 根據JNTO數據，3月份有17個國家/地區的訪日遊客創下歷史新高，從相對於2019年的增速看，前三大客源地為墨西哥(170.0%)、西班牙(88.4%)、澳洲(87.4%)。

3. 從訪日遊客的總人次看，韓國人數最多，為66.3萬人；其次為台灣與中國大陸，分別為48.4萬人與45.2萬人。不過韓國3月入境日本人數較2月(81.9萬人)下滑19%，即便考量過年的季節性因素也仍有見頂趨勢，對於"想多看看世界"的韓國出行者而言，開始會考慮其他的國家。

4. 中國大陸赴日遊客45.2萬人雖仍較2019年同期下降35%，但與2023年相比已增長接近5X，很可能將是2024年赴日外國遊客的增量來源。

The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) recently announced that the number of foreign visitors to Japan in March 2024 reached 3.081 million, setting a new historical monthly record. However, there are signs that the number of visitors from South Korea has peaked. Haize Capital shared some details as follows:

1. In March 2024, the number of foreign visitors to Japan was 3.081 million, an increase of 11.6% compared to the same period in 2019, and a 69.5% increase from the same period in 2023, setting a new historical high. It is projected that this record may continue to be broken during the summer.

2. According to JNTO data, March saw historical highs in visitors from 17 countries/regions. The top three source countries with the highest growth compared to 2019 were Mexico (170.0%), Spain (88.4%), and Australia (87.4%).

3. Among the total number of foreign visitors to Japan, South Koreans were the largest group, totaling 663,000; followed by Taiwan and Mainland China, with 484,000 and 452,000 visitors respectively. However, the number of South Korean visitors in March decreased by 19% from February (819,000 visitors), showing signs of peaking even after accounting for seasonal factors during the Lunar New Year. South Korean travelers looking to "see more of the world" may start considering other countries.

4. Although the number of visitors from Mainland China to Japan in March was 452,000, a 35% decrease from the same period in 2019, it has nearly quintupled compared to 2023, likely becoming a significant source of the increase in foreign visitors to Japan in 2024.
