美國的旅遊公司最近很嫌棄美國疾病控制中心（CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention），原因在於CDC堅持必須要等更多的國民"完全接種疫苗"，才能放開旅遊管制。
完全接種的意義在於，接種疫苗的人不僅本身不會發病，也不具備傳播病毒的能力。
目前每家疫苗的防護程度不同，多數都能做到防止發病，但是如果要做到不帶原，程序就比較複雜。
目前美國CDC所定義的完全接種僅包含接受兩劑Moderna或Pfizer / BioNTech疫苗或單劑Johnson & Johnson疫苗的人，也就是說只打一劑這些廠商的疫苗，或是打其他所有廠牌的疫苗通通不算。這麼嚴謹的標準，很可能群體免疫都到了，完全接種的人還不到CDC的要求。CDC選擇如此高的標準，可能還是在過猶不及間，寧願選擇更嚴謹些。
這個時候旅遊公司就先忍忍了，春天不會不來，只是稍微遲到。

米国の旅行会社が最近、米国疾病管理センター(CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)を嫌っている。CDCは、旅行の制限を解除する前に、より多くの国民が「完全なワクチン接種」を受ける必要があると主張しているからだ。
完全ワクチン接種の定義は、接種を受けた人がCovid-19を発症することも、新型コロナウイルスを拡散することもできないということだ。
現在、各ワクチンの防御効果は異なり、発病を防ぐことができるものが多いが、病原体を持たないようにするには手続きが複雑になる。
現在、CDCによって定義されている完全接種には、ModernaまたはPfizer / BioNTechのワクチンを2回接種した人、またはJohnson & Johnsonのワクチンを1回接種した人のみが含まれる。つまり、これらのメーカーのワクチンを1回だけ接種したり、他のメーカーのワクチンを接種したりする人は含まれない。
このような厳しい基準は、集団免疫を達成していても、完全に接種した人はCDCの要求を満たしていない可能性がある。CDCがこのような厳格な基準を選んだのは、厳しすぎることと緩すぎることの間で、むしろ厳格な基準を選んだのかもしれない。
現時点では、旅行会社はこれでとりあえず我慢する。春が来ないわけではない、少し遅れてくるだけだ。

미국의 여행 회사은 요즘 질병통제예방센터(CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)를 싫어한다. CDC는 더 많은 국민이 완전 백신 접종을 받아야 여행 통제를 풀 수 있다고 고집했기 때문이다.
완전접종의 의미는 접종한 사람 자신이 발병하지 않을 뿐 아니라 바이러스를 전파할 능력도 없다는 것이다.
현재 백신마다 보호 수준이 달라 대부분의 백신은 발병을 막을 수 있지만 병원체를 제거하는 절차는 더 복잡하다.
현재 미국 CDC에서 정의하는 전면 백신 접종은 Moderna 또는 Pfizer / BioNTech를 2회 접종한 사람 또는 Johnson & Johnson 백신을 1회 접종한 사람만을 포함하다. 즉, 이들 제약사의 백신을 1회 맞은 사람 또는 다른 브랜드 백신을 맞은 사람은 카운트되지 않는다. 이런 엄격한 기준으로는 집단면역을 취득한 후에도 완전히 백신접종을 받은 사람의 수가 CDC의 요구에 못 미칠 가능성이 높다. CDC가 이처럼 높은 기준을 선택한 것은 지나치게 엄격하고 느슨한 가운데 차라리 조심스럽다는 의미일 수 있다.
이때 여행 회사는 기다릴 수밖에 없다. 봄이 오지 않을 리가 없어 그저 조금 늦을 뿐이다.
