如果不看數據，你會覺得COVID-19 Delta是一個很可怕的變種病毒，在疫苗多到能在各景點與Costco為旅客施打疫苗的美國，竟然近7日確診超過52萬人，死亡達2376人(7/27-8/2)。
其實答案很簡單，美國迄今已接種一劑以上疫苗的人口占比僅57.4%，亦即，仍有1.4億人(42.6%)是選擇不接種疫苗的。
站在無法取得至WHO認證疫苗的非洲/亞洲多數國家的角度來說，這樣的做法毋寧是不可思議的；但是從互聯網算法帶動的族群對立角度來說，這又無比正常，一大群人在自己的小圈子中，只看著社交媒體針對偏好餵養的資訊，完全不接觸客觀/國際的第三方資訊。
Fauci也只能說："人們有權為自己做決定，我尊重這一點。但問題是，如果你會成為病毒傳播鏈的一部分，這會影響你之外的人。你必須多考慮一下( “People feeling that they have the individual right to make their own decision, and I respect that. But the issue is, if you're going to be part of the transmission chain to someone else, it's not only impacting you. And you've got to think about it.”)。

사실은 답이 간단하다. 미국에서 지금까지 백신을 1회 이상 접종한 인구는 57.4%에 불과하다. 즉, 여전히 1억 4000만명 (42.6%)이 백신을 맞지 않고 있다.
WHO가 인정하는 백신을 구매할 수 없는 아프리카/아시아의 많은 나라들에게는 이 상황이 상상할 수 없다. 그러나 인터넷 매체가 주도하는 인종의 대립각도에서 볼 때 이는 비할바 없이 정상적이다. 많은 사람들이 자신의 작은 집단 내에서 소셜 미디어가 주도한 정보만 볼 뿐 객관적인/국제적인 제3자 정보는 전혀 접하지 않고 있다.

データを見なければ、COVID-19 Deltaは本当に恐ろしい変種ウイルスだ。観光地やコストコで旅行者にワクチン接種を提供できるほどワクチンが多い米国では、ここ7日間の新規感染者数が52万人を超え、2376人の死亡が確認された(7月27日~ 8月2日)。
実際には、原因は簡単だ。米国ではこれまでに1回以上接種した人口は57.4%に過ぎず、1億4000万人(42.6%)が接種しないことを選択している。

You would definitely believe that COVID-19 Delta was a horrible variant virus unless you have viewed the data. It's unbelievable that there were more than 520,000 confirmed cases and 2,376 deaths (Jul 27-Aug 2) within the past 7 days in the United States, where there are sufficient vaccines that can even vaccinate travelers at various attractions and Costco.
Actually the answer is simple. So far, only 57.4% of the population in the United States have received more than one dose of vaccine, which means there are still 140 million people (42.6%) who choose not to be vaccinated.
It’s beyond comprehension for most African/Asian countries that have little access to WHO certified vaccines, but from the perspective of ethnic opposition driven by Internet algorithms, it is extremely normal. A large group of people in their own small circle only view the information feeding by social media that filter by preference, and do not have any contact with objective/international third-party information.
Fauci could say no more than “People feeling that they have the individual right to make their own decision, and I respect that. But the issue is, if you're going to be part of the transmission chain to someone else, it's not only impacting you. And you've got to think about it.”
