日本推出公路鐵路雙功能運輸車

近期日本在德島縣海陽町推出了世界上第一輛兼具公路和鐵路雙重功能的雙模式運輸車(DMV, dual-mode vehicle)。

DMV看起來像一輛小型巴士，最多可搭載21名乘客，在公路上使用普通的橡膠輪胎，到達火車鐵軌時，火車輪會從DMV底部下降到鐵軌，並將橡膠輪胎抬離軌道，把DMV推上鐵軌。根據官方說法，運營DMV的目的是讓像海陽町這樣老齡化嚴重的小城鎮，協助當地居民簡單的到達各火車站，因為當地運營公共汽車難以盈利，火車與公共汽車一體的DMV，在人口老齡化的農村地區是非常好的公共交通方式。

從旅遊的角度看，這種沿著日本南部四國島海岸線行駛的DMV，也能作為小鎮旅行間的接駁，為乘客提供迷人的海濱風光。

최근 일본은 도쿠시마현 가이요쵸에서 버스와 기차의 이중 기능을 겸비한 세계 최초의 이중모드 운송차(DMV, dual-mode vehicle)를 출시했다.

DMV는 소형 버스처럼 보이며 승객 최대 21명을 태울 수 있다. DMV는 도로에서 일반적인 고무 타이어를 사용하는데 기차 레일에 도착하면 기차 바퀴가 DMV 바닥에서 레일로 내려 고무 타이어를 궤도에서 들어 올려 다음에 DMV를 레일로 밀어 올린다. 공식 설에 따르면 DMV를 운영하는 목적은 하이양정처럼 고령화가 심각한 소도시에서의 현지 주민들이 각 기차역에 편리하게 도착하도록 협조하는 것이다. 현지에서 버스를 운행하면 이윤을 창출하기 어렵기 때문에 기차와 버스의 이중기능을 겸비한 하나인 DMV는 인구 고령화된 농촌 지역에서 매우 좋은 대중교통 방식이 될 것이다.

관광의 측면에서 볼 때 일본 남부지역 시코쿠의 해안선을 따라 달리는 이런 DMV는 작은 마을 여행간의 교통 연결로 여객들에게 매혹적인 해변 풍경을 관람할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 수 있다.

徳島県海陽町でこのほど、線路も道路も走れる世界初の「デュアル・モード・ビークル（ＤＭＶ）」が登場した。

DMVはマイクロバスのような外観で、最大21人の乗客を乗せて走ることができる。道路では通常のゴムタイヤを使用し、レールに到達するとそして前の方から鉄車輪がぐーっと出てきて前の車体を浮かせて、そして後ろのタイヤでそのまま線路の上を走る。関係者によると、DMVを運営する目的は海陽町のような高齢化が深刻化している小さな町で、地元住民が簡単に各駅に到着できるようにすることだ。地元でバスを運営して利益を出すことが難しいため、鉄道路線とバスが一体となったDMVは、高齢化に悩まされている地方では非常に優れた公共交通機関となる。

観光の角度から見て、四国の海岸線に沿って走るこのようなDMV、また小さな町間を結ぶ観光での交通アクセスとして、乗客に素敵な海岸風景を見せてくれることができる。

Recently, Japan launched the world's first DMV (dual-mode vehicle) with dual functions of bus and train in Kaiyo, Tokushima Prefecture.

With the maximum capacity of 21 passengers, the DMV looks like a minibus and runs on normal rubber tires on the road. But when it arrives at an interchange, steel wheels descend from the vehicle's underbelly onto the rail track and lift the rubber tires off the track then propel the DMV onto the railway. According to the official, the purpose of operating the DMV is to help the local residents to easily reach the railway stations in small towns with serious aging like Kaiyo, where local transport companies struggle to make a profit. The DMV, which is a combination of trains and buses, is a very good form of public transportation in rural areas with an aging population.

From a tourism point of view, this DMV, which runs along the coastline of Shikoku Island in southern Japan, connecting several small towns and offering passengers attractive seaside scenery.
