Starting from October 11, the Japanese government lifted the limit on the number of people entering the country, and resumed the acceptance of individual travelers and the original visa-free regulations. Recently, the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) also announced the entry data for October for reference.
According to JNTO, the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan in October 2022 is estimated to be 498,600, which is an increase of about 141% from the previous month's 206,500, in terms of the source of tourists: 122,900 visitors from South Korea; 53,200 visitors from the United States; Hong Kong contributed 36,200 visitors; Taiwan contributed 35,000 visitors and Thailand contributed 34,100 visitors. A steady recovery has been seen among East Asian markets.
Compared with the visitor quantity before the pandemic, although it is only 20% of the same period of 2019 (2.4966 million), we believe that the Christmas and New Year peak seasons are still expected.

10月11日起，日本政府解除入境人數限制，恢復接受自由行散客和原有的免簽證規定，近期日本國家旅遊局(JNTO)也公告了10月的入境數據可做為參考。
根據JNTO數據，2022年10月訪日外國遊客人數預估為49.86萬人，較上月20.65萬人，MoM增長約141%。按地區劃分，訪日遊客人數從大到小依次為：韓國12.29萬人次、美國5.32萬人次、香港3.62萬人次、台灣3.5萬人次、泰國3.41萬人次，在以東亞市場為主的區域都已看到穩定復甦。
與2019年同期的訪日外國遊客人數相比，雖僅為同期的20%(2019年實際人數為249.66萬人)，但我們認為聖誕與過年旺季仍屬可期。

일본 정부는 10월 11일부터 입국 인수 제한을 없애고 개인 자유여행과 무비자 여행을 부활시켰다. 최근 일본정부관광국(JNTO)도 10월 입국 데이터를 참고로 발표했다.
일본정부관광국(JNTO)의 통계에 따르면 2022년 10월 방일 외국인 관광객은 49만 8600명으로 전월의 20만 6500명보다 약 141% 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 관광객 출신국별로는 한국 12만 2900명, 미국 5만 3200명, 홍콩 3만 6200명, 대만 3만 5000명, 태국 3만 4100명이다. 동아시아 관광시장은 꾸준히 회복되고 있다.
코로나 이전과 비교하면 방일 외국인 관광객 수가 2019년 동기(249만 6600명)의 20%에 불과하지만 크리스마스와 새해 관광 성수기는 여전히 기대해볼 만하다고 본다.
