基於Musk近期的一些言談，他在媒體上甚至被宣傳是全球民主的威脅(a threat to global democracy)。

這篇Information的文章，固然可以理解為：只是一個有影響力的互聯網財經媒體，刊載了一篇有影響力的法學教授批評一位有影響力的創新者與企業家是民主的威脅(或說是對美國全球領導地位的威脅)。但也不得不讓我覺得，從中美互角與俄烏戰爭以來，許多過去令人尊敬的英文媒體，正在降低或停止作為媒體所應持有的道德標準與平衡採訪，很多新聞文章更像是單方面的"評論"，充斥著偏見。這些我們習於在壹週刊、鏡周刊出現的事物，如果出現在Information、Reuters，難免讓人嘆息。

Musk has been criticized in the media as a threat to global democracy, due to some of his recent remarks.

This Information article, of course, can be understood as: it is just an influential Internet financial media, which released an article by one influential law professor criticizing an influential innovator and entrepreneur as a threat to democracy (or a threat to U.S. global leadership). But it also made me feel that since the Sino-US conflict and the Russian-Ukrainian war, many respected English-language media in the past are lowering or stopping the ethical standards and balanced interviews they should uphold as media, many news articles are more like one-sided "comment", full of bias. Things that could appear in Next Magazine and Mirror Media, when it appears with Information, Reuters, it's inevitably disappointing.

머스크의 최근 발언 때문에 매체으로부터 '글로벌 민주주의에 대한 위협'이라는 비판을 받았다.

물론 이 Information 글은 영향력 있는 인터넷 금융 매체일 뿐이며, 영향력 있는 혁신가와 기업가를 '민주주의의 위협(또는 미국의 글로벌 리더십에 대한 위협)'이라고 비판하는 영향력 있는 법학 교수의 글을 발표한 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 그러나 중미 충돌, 러시아-우크라이나 전쟁 이후, 과거에 많은 존경받는 영어 매체는 매체로서 마땅히 가져야 할 도덕적 기준과 균형 잡힌 취재를 낮추거나 멈추고 있다. 많은 뉴스 보도는 일방적인 '논평'에 가깝고 편견으로 가득 차 있다. 넥스트 매거진(Next Magazine)과 미러 미디어(Mirror Media)에 나타날 수 있는 이런 논평은 Information과 Reuters에 나타난다면 실망감을 금치 못한다.
