日本出入境旅遊因匯率變動 恢復態勢迥異
Due to fluctuations in the yen exchange rate, the recovery of Japan's inbound and outbound tourism is different

According to IATA, fluctuations in the yen exchange rate have affected Japan's post-pandemic tourism recovery, showing different recovery rhythms for inbound and outbound tourism.

In terms of inbound tourism, as Japan gradually relaxes its travel restrictions, the country has now allowed visa-free travel, canceled the daily entry limit and the pre-departure/arrival PCR test for passengers. Subsequently, Japan's inbound tourism recovered rapidly. In August, the number of international air passengers was about 20% of the same period in 2019, which was far lower than the 85% of the United States and 79% of Europe; then it grew nearly three times in three weeks, reaching 50% of the pre-pandemic level by the end of September.

While Japan's outbound travel has yet benefited from the lifting of travel restrictions, which is related to the obvious weakening of the yen. The yen has lost nearly 21% of its value against the dollar so far this year, and is still down more than 15% even considering the effects of trading and inflation, resulting in much higher cost for Japanese tourists going abroad, Japan's outbound tourists quantity in November only reached about 20% of the pre-pandemic level.

入境遊部分，隨著日本逐步放寬對Covid-19的旅行限制，當前日本已允許免簽旅遊，並取消每日入境上限與旅客的到達/到達前的PCR測試。隨後日本入境遊迅速恢復，8月國際航班輸送旅客量約為2019年同期的20%，遠低於美國的85%和歐洲的79%；隨後在三週內成長接近三倍，9月底已達疫情前的50%。

出境游部分，則未受益於解除旅行限制，這與日元明顯走弱有關。今年以來，日元兌美元貶值近 21%，即便經貿易加權和通脹調整，日元仍貶值超過15%。這使得日本遊客出國的成本相比過去高得多，11月出境旅客數僅達疫情前的20%左右。

IATA 데이터에 따르면 엔화 환율의 변동은 일본 포스트 코로나 시대 관광업 회복에 영향을 미쳤고 입국여행과 해외여행의 회복 리듬도 다르다.

입국여행면에서 일본이 점차 여행 규제를 완화함에 따라 일본은 현재 이미 무비자여행을 회복했으며 매일 입국자 수 상한제한을 취소하고 여객의 출국전/도착전의 PCR검사를 취소했다. 이어 일본 입국여행이 빠르게 재개됐다. 8월 국제 항공 여객 수는 2019년 동기의 약 20%로 미국의 85%, 유럽의 79%보다 훨씬 적다. 이후 3주 만에 3배 가까이 증가해 9월 말까지 코로나 이전 수준의 50%에 달했다. 

반면 일본 해외여행은 아직 여행 규제 해제의 혜택을 받지 못하고 있는데, 이는 엔화의 뚜렷한 약세와 관련이 있다. 올해 들어 엔화는 달러에 대해 21% 가까이 평가절하되었다. 무역과 인플레이션의 영향을 고려하더라도 하락폭은 여전히 15%를 넘는다. 일본 관광객의 출국 원가가 대폭 상승하게 되었다. 11월 일본의 출국 관광객 수는 코로나 이전 수준의 20% 안팎에 그쳤다.
