Japan Tourism Agency releases domestic accommodation data, recovering to near pre-pandemic level

日本觀光廳近期公告2022年12月與2023年1月的"日本過夜旅行統計，海擇資本梳理一些值得關注的數據：

1. 從過夜遊客總數看，日本全境已恢復到接近疫情前，2023年1月的過夜遊客總人次為3,931萬，為2019年的92.1%。

2. 其中外國過夜遊客總人次為622萬，為2019年的67.5%；但主要城市恢復更快，在東京過夜的外國遊客總人次已比2019年同期增長1.1%。

3. 從入住率看，1月整體日本住宿產業的入住率為44.7%，為2019年同期的90.7%。

The Japan Tourism Agency recently announced the "Japan Overnight Travel Statistics" for December 2022 and January 2023, and Haize Capital has sorted out some noteworthy data.

1. In terms of the total number of overnight visitors, the entire Japan has recovered to near pre-pandemic level, with a total of 39.31 million overnight visitors in January 2023, representing 92.1% of the 2019 level.

2. In which there were 6.22 million foreign overnight visitors, 67.5% of the 2019 figure; however, major cities recovered more quickly, with the total number of foreign visitors staying overnight in Tokyo already up 1.1% over the same period in 2019.

3. In terms of occupancy rate, the overall Japanese accommodation industry recorded an occupancy rate of 44.7% in January, reaching 90.7% of 2019 same period level.

최근 일본 관광청이 2022년 12월과 2023년 1월의 '일본 하룻밤 여행 통계'를 발표하자 하이저 캐피털은 주목할 만한 데이터를 정리했다.

1. 하룻밤 여행객 총수로 말하자면, 일본 전체는 이미 코로나 전의 수준을 회복했다. 2023년 1월 하룻밤 여행객 총수는 3,931만 명으로 2019년 수준의 92.1%를 차지한다.

2. 이 중 외국인 하룻밤 관광객은 622만 명으로 2019년의 67.5%이다. 그러나 주요 도시의 회복 속도가 더 빨라 도쿄에서 밤을 보내는 외국인 관광객 수는 이미 2019년 동기대비 1.1% 증가했다. 

3. 입주율의 경우 일본 숙박업의 1월 전체 입주율은 44.7%로 2019년 동기 수준의 90.7%에 달했다.
