海擇短評 Haize Comment：
基於多年研究，海擇資本一直認為，雖然韓國當然玩樂的產品數遠遠不如日本，但韓國的自然風光絕對足以支撐新的當地玩樂產品興起。近期韓國文化體育觀光部(Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 문화체육관광부)選定5個島嶼作為“韓國旅遊島培育項目”，這五個被稱為"K-旅遊島(K-Tourism Islands, K-관광섬)"的項目，可能就是很好的契機。
去年年末，韓國文化體育觀光部在各行政區舉行了旅遊島公開競賽，其中巨文島(거문도, 位於麗水市)、馬爾多/明島/防竹島(말도‧명도‧방축도, 位於群山市)、白翎島(백령도, 位於翁津郡)、鬱陵島(울릉도, 位於鬱陵郡)與黑山島(흑산도, 位於新安郡)等5個島嶼被選中。韓國政府將在4年內為每個島嶼投資約100億韓元，將這些島嶼培育成“K- 旅遊島”，做為能推廣給世界各國遊客的旅遊勝地。由於其中三個島同時也符合國土交通省《第六次機場綜合發展計劃(2021-2025年)》的開發標準，它們將同時建設島嶼機場，能有更多資金做好旅遊振興。
目前看來，雖然從人口規模與繁榮程度來看，這5個島都不如濟州島，但海島度假有其迷人之處，比如寧靜放鬆的環境、多樣的野生動植物生態系統、豐富的海鮮食材，如果能整合每個海島本身的文化、歷史傳統，開發獨特的文化體驗活動，或許真能自成一格，做出韓國特色。

Based on years of research, Haize Capital has always believed that although South Korea's leisure products are far fewer than Japan's, its natural scenery is definitely sufficient to support the emergence of new local leisure products. Recently, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (문화체육관광부) has selected five islands for the "Korean Tourism Island Development Project." These five projects, known as "K-Tourism Islands (K-관광섬)," could be an excellent opportunity.
At the end of last year, the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an open competition for tourism islands in various districts. Among them, Geomundo (거문도, located in Yeosu City), Maldom/ Myeongdo/ Bangchukdo (말도‧명도‧방축도, located in Gunsan City), Baengnyeongdo (백령도, located in Ongjin County), Ulleungdo (울릉도, located in Ulleung County), and Heuksando (흑산도, located in Sinan County) were selected. The South Korean government will invest about KRW 10 billion in each island over the next four years to cultivate these places into "K-Tourism Islands," promoting them as tourist destinations for visitors all over the world. As three of the islands also meet the development standards of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport's "Sixth Comprehensive Airport Development Plan (2021-2025)," they will simultaneously construct island airports, allowing for more funds to be allocated for tourism promotion.
At present, although these five islands may not be as populous or prosperous as Jeju Island, island vacations have their own charm, such as tranquil and relaxing environments, diverse wildlife and ecosystems, and abundant seafood ingredients. If each island can integrate its own culture, history, and traditions to develop unique cultural experiences, they may be able to establish their own niche and showcase South Korean characteristics.

다년간의 연구를 바탕으로 하이저 캐피털은 한국의 레저 제품이 일본보다 훨씬 적지만 그 자연 풍경은 본토의 신형 레저 제품을 지원하기에 충분하다고 주장해 왔다. 최근 문화체육관광부는 'K-관광섬 육성사업'으로 5개 섬을 선정했다. 'K-관광섬'으로 불리는 이 다섯 가지 프로그램이 절호의 계기가 될 수 있다.
문화체육관광부는 지난해 말 유인도서가 있는 지자체를 대상으로 사업을 공모해 ▲거문도(여수시) ▲말도‧명도‧방축도(군산시) ▲백령도(옹진군) ▲울릉도(울릉군) ▲흑산도(신안군) 5개 섬(가나다 순)을 선정했다고 밝혔다. 해당 섬들은 4년 동안 섬별로 약 100억원 내외를 투입해 세계인이 가고 싶은 관광명소, 'K-관광섬'으로 육성한다. 이 중 3개 섬도 국토교통부의 '제6차 공항개발종합계획(2021~2025)'에 따른 '도서 소형공항 건설사업'과 연계한 협업사업으로 추진해 관광 활성화 협력망을 구축할 계획이다.
현재 이 다섯 개의 섬은 제주도만큼 인구가 조밀하지 않고 제주도만큼 번화하지 않지만 섬관광은 조용하고 편안한 환경, 다양한 야생동물과 생태계, 풍부한 해산물 식재료와 같은 자신만의 매력이 있다. 섬마다 그 자체의 문화, 역사와 전통을 통합해 독특한 문화 체험을 할 수 있다면 자신만의 스타일을 만들어 한국적 특색을 보여줄 수 있을 것이다.
