據了解，OpenAI近期考慮做為平台，推出ChatGPT的應用市場，讓開發者(公司)可以將依自己需求定制的AI模型出售給其他企業，平台所運營的應用市場類似蘋果與安卓的APP Store。
目前ChatGPT面對類似需求，是用Plug-in的方式處理。以旅遊領域來說，用戶在使用ChatGPT與聊天機器人對話時，可以通過下拉式選單，選取OpenTable與Expedia這類Plug-in提出需求與購買產品，無需進入這些品牌的官網。不過，若考慮到Plug-in的必須以ChatGPT為主體，用戶必須先登錄並使用ChatGPT，才能針對不同的細分領域對供應商提出需求，使用體驗不如直接使用APP便利。
目前來看，在眾所周知的旅遊領域之外，已有部分細分領域的供應商完成開發，如：
1. Aquant是設備製造商用來處理客戶維護和維修的軟體，已開發基於ChatGPT的聊天機器人應用，用以回覆客戶需求，同時也會對客戶的提問重點進行排名。
2. Khan Academy是教育類APP的製造商，已開發基於ChatGPT的聊天機器人應用Khanmigo。Khanmigo除了充當教師和學生的導師外，同時也有功能防止學生使用Khanmigo作弊。
3. FiscalNote更為細分，主要開發政治家/政客在競選時能使用的IT工具，已開發基於ChatGPT的聊天機器人應用，用戶能使用機器人為政治競選活動製作文宣和電子郵件。
目前尚不清楚OpenAI在應用市場的商業模式，比如是否會針對被下載的應用收取佣金，或是用廣告費的形式從搜索排序或展示方式獲得收入。但可以確定的是，如果這些細分領域的供應商都能以特定模型服務所屬客群，潛在市場將異常龐大；即便OpenAI不通過應用市場向開發商收費，也能藉此收集各細分領域數據，用於訓練自己的大語言模型，這似乎是改進ChatGPT的好方式之一。

According to sources, OpenAI is considering launching an application marketplace for ChatGPT, acting as a platform. This would allow developers (companies) to sell AI models customized to their own needs to other businesses. The operation of this application marketplace is akin to Apple and Android's APP Store.
Currently, ChatGPT handles similar requests by plug-in. For instance, in the travel domain, users can interact with the chatbot and choose plug-ins like OpenTable and Expedia from a drop-down menu to make requests and purchase products, without the need to visit these brands' official websites. However, considering that the plug-ins must be based around ChatGPT as the main body, users must first log in ChatGPT in order to address their needs to providers in different specialized sectors. This user experience is not as convenient as directly using an app.
In addition to the well-known travel sector, some providers in other sectors have completed development. For example:
1. Aquant, a software used by equipment manufacturers for customer maintenance and repair management, has developed a chatbot based on ChatGPT. This chatbot can respond to customer needs and ranks the key points of customer questions.
2. Khan Academy, a maker of educational apps, has developed a ChatGPT-based chatbot named Khanmigo. Khanmigo not only acts as a tutor for teachers and students, but also has mechanisms to prevent students from cheating with its help.
3. FiscalNote, a company with a more specialized focus, primarily develops IT tools that politicians can use during campaigns. They have developed a ChatGPT-based chatbot application that users can utilize to create propaganda and emails for political campaign activities.
At present, it is not clear what business model OpenAI will adopt for the application marketplace, such as whether it will charge a commission for downloaded applications, or collect advertising fees via search rankings or display methods. However, what is certain is that if these operators from various fields can all serve their customers with specific models, the potential market will be exceptionally large. Even if OpenAI does not charge developers through the application marketplace, it can still collect data from various sectors to train its large language model, which might be a good way to improve ChatGPT.
