世事猶如雲變改，2020年新冠初期日本的鑽石公主號郵輪事件還在記憶中，半年前投行摩根史坦利也才發布報告認為郵輪產業將全軍覆沒，甚至給到嘉年華郵輪集團(NYSE: CCL)估值是0的投資建議；現在，郵輪產業又因為屬於超高性價比產品而大放異彩，嘉年華郵輪集團一季之間，市值從113億美金翻倍到最高超過250億美金。而另一個郵輪產業具有代表性的指標是，又出現載客量創新高的新郵輪了。
本次載客量創新高的郵輪為皇家加勒比郵輪集團(NYSE: RCL)旗下的新船“海洋烏托邦號(Utopia of the Seas)”，共有2834個客艙，載客量為5,668人(每間兩人)，船員數量為2,290人，計劃於2024年7月首次下水。此前能載客最多的郵輪一樣屬於皇家加勒比郵輪集團旗下，船名海洋和悅號(Harmony of the Seas)，該船於2015年6月下水，共有16層甲板和2700個客艙，可搭載2100名船員。

The world changes. The Diamond Princess cruise ship incident in Japan in 2020(the early stages of the COVID-19) is still fresh in memory. Just six months ago, Morgan Stanley issued a report suggesting the cruise industry was headed for total collapse, even providing investment advice with a valuation of zero for the Carnival Cruise Line Group (NYSE: CCL). Now, the cruise industry is again shining due to its super high cost-performance ratio. Within one quarter, the market value of Carnival Cruise Line Group has doubled from 11.3 billion USD to over 25 billion USD at its peak. Another indicator of the cruise industry is that a new cruise ship with record passenger capacities has appeared.
"The cruise ship with the new record passenger capacity is the "Utopia of the Seas," a new ship under the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Group (NYSE: RCL). It has 2834 cabins with a passenger capacity of 5,668 people (two per cabin), and a crew of 2,290. It is planned to be launched for the first time in July 2024. The previous cruise ship with the highest passenger capacity also belonged to the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Group, the "Harmony of the Seas." This ship was launched in June 2015, has 16 decks and 2700 cabins, and can accommodate 2100 crew members."
