日本國家旅遊局(JNTO)近期公告8月訪日旅客數據，根據統計，海擇資本認為三個相關數據值得留意：
1. 2023年8月訪日外國遊客總數約216萬人，相較2019年同期減少14%；1月到8月累計總數為1,519萬，相較2019年減少31%。值得注意的是8月較7月回檔8%，主要原因是赴日遊客最大國南韓，8月赴日遊客數較7月減少9%。
2. 按地區來看，訪日外國遊客人數TOP 3依舊為韓國(56.9萬人次，較2019年增加84%）、台灣(39.6萬人次，較2019年減少6%)、中國(36.4萬人次，較2019年減少64%)。香港為 206,300 人（成長 8.4%），美國為 138,400 人（成長 17.5%）；若按與2019年相比的增長率來看，TOP 3分別為韓國(增加84%）、墨西哥(增長71%)、中東地區(增長39%)。
3. 若從機場國際航班運力恢復的角度看，8月日本主要機場(成田機場、關西國際機場、羽田機場、福岡機場、名古屋機場、札幌機場)的國際航班數量為17,008架次，較2019 年下降26.0%，座位數399.7萬個，較2019 年下降25.0%。

The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) released the inbound arrivals for August, there are three points that Haize Capital believes are noteworthy:
1. In August 2023, the total number of foreign visitors to Japan was approximately 2.16 million, a 14% decrease compared to the same period in 2019. From January to August, the cumulative total was 15.19 million, a decrease of 31% compared to 2019. Notably, there was an 8% decline in August from July, the main reason is that South Korea, the largest source of visitors to Japan, saw a 9% decrease in the number of visitors to Japan in August compared to July.
2. In terms of regions, the top 3 tourist sources to Japan are still South Korea (569,000 visitors, an 84% increase from 2019), Taiwan (396,000, a 6% decrease from 2019), and China (364,000 visitors, a 64% decrease from 2019). Hong Kong sent 206,300 visitors (an 8.4% increase), and the United States had 138,400 visitors (a 17.5% increase). In terms of the growth rate compared to 2019, the top 3 are South Korea (an 84% increase), Mexico (a 71% increase), and the Middle East (a 39% increase).
3. As for the international flight capacity recovery of airports, in August, the number of international flights at major Japanese airports (Narita, Kansai International, Haneda, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo) was 17,008, a decrease of 26.0% compared to 2019, and the flight seats was 3.997 million, a decrease of 25.0% compared to 2019.

최근 일본정부관광국(JNTO)은 8월의 방일 입국 여객수를 발표했는데, 하이저 캐피털은 세 가지를 주목할 필요가 있다고 생각했다.
1. 2023년 8월 방일 외국인 관광객 수는 약 216만명으로 2019년 같은 기간보다 14% 감소했다. 1월∼8월 누계는 1,519만명으로 2019년보다 31% 감소했다. 특히 8월은 7월보다 8% 하락했다. 일본 최대 여객국인 한국의 8월 방일 여객수가 7월보다 9% 감소한 것이 주요 원인이다.
2. 지역별로 보면 일본 여행의 상위 3대 객원지는 여전히 한국(56만9,000명, 2019년 대비 84% 증가), 대만(39만6,000명, 2019년 대비 6% 감소), 중국(36만4,000명, 2019년 대비 64% 감소)이다. 홍콩은 20만6,300명(8.4% 증가), 미국은 13만8,400명(17.5% 증가)이다. 2019년 대비 성장률 1∼3위는 한국(84% 증가), 멕시코(71% 증가), 중동(39% 증가)이다.
3. 공항의 국제선 수송력 회복 상황을 보면, 8월 일본 주요 공항(나리타공항, 간사이공항, 하네다공항, 후쿠오카공항, 나고야공항, 삿포로공항)의 국제선 수는 17,008대로 2019년보다 26.0% 감소했고, 항공편 좌석은 399만7000석으로 2019년보다 25.0% 감소했다.
