11月第二周，空中計程車(Air Taxi)同時在美國與歐盟都有重要的里程碑事件，相關項目在美國紐約市得到推動與政府投資，而在法國巴黎市的市議會則被批判與否決，這也一定程度反映了兩市或者說兩個地域在創新科技與可持續兩個價值的權衡間，所選擇的不同價值與優先級。
11月12日，Joby Aviation(NYSE: JOBY)和Volocopter兩家公司在紐約市進行了簡短的空中計程車飛行展示。會上紐約市長Eric Adams宣布，該市會將曼哈頓的兩個直升機場—曼哈頓市中心直升機場和東34街直升機場供空中計程車使用。這對於空中計程車或是廣泛的"電動垂直起降(eVTOL, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing)"行業來說是一場巨大勝利，因為在法案落實、供應商試驗完成後，行業還需要大量的公共空間與政府支持才能順利啟動商業化服務。此前Joby Aviation已在俄亥俄州取得3.25億美元的政府獎勵，其後與投資人達美航空 (NYSE: DAL)簽署合約，提供"城市到機場"的服務。本次服務在紐約市落地，將能把從曼哈頓到甘迺迪國際機場的交通時間縮短至7分鐘。

In the second week of November, air taxis achieved significant milestones in both the United States and the European Union. In New York City, USA, related projects received government investment and support. However, in Paris, France, the city council criticized and rejected these projects. This reflects the different values and priorities chosen by different regions in balancing innovative technology and sustainability.
On November 12, Joby Aviation (NYSE: JOBY) and Volocopter conducted brief air taxi flight demonstrations in New York City. During the event, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that the city would allocate two helicopter ports—Manhattan Downtown Heliport and East 34th Street Heliport—for air taxi use. This represents a significant victory for the air taxi and broader eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) industry, as successful commercialization requires substantial public space and government support following legislative implementation and supplier trials. Previously, Joby Aviation had received a $325 million government award in Ohio and subsequently signed a contract with investor Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) to provide "city to airport" services. The service's launch in New York City will potentially reduce travel time from Manhattan to John F. Kennedy International Airport to just 7 minutes.
However, in the same second week of November, the eVTOL industry faced setbacks in the Paris City Council, France. France initially planned to introduce air taxis in Paris during the 2024 Olympics, but this plan was deemed an "ecological aberration" following an assessment by the French Environmental Management Agency. The report highlighted issues like noise/visual pollution, energy wastage, and safety risks on the ground and in the air during the air taxi trials at the Port d'Austerlitz on the Seine River. Deputy Mayor Dan Lert condemned the project as a useless, highly polluting gimmick beneficial only to a super-privileged minority(the project's city-to-airport itinerary is priced at €110 one way). Philippe Goujon, the mayor of Paris's 15th district, also declared the cessation of air taxi operations at the Héliport d'Issy-Les-Moulineaux. Ultimately, the plan did not receive approval from the city council.
